Dealing with the skeletons wouldn't be so bad of the other tanks would STOP TAUNTING OFF ME WHEN I ALMOST HAVE IT TO THE LAST PLATFORM!!! then the dps kills it cause it's almost dead anyway and where does it die? On the first platform.

Haha, sensible? I've never seen Bone Dragon tanked in the middle and I've also never wiped on this boss. Tanking it on the far wall can't be bad if it works flawlessly. I've tanked, healed and DPSed (melee) and it's simply not an issue tanking it north.
I normally Tank CT and this strategy has never failed for me as well. I've only been in one group where we wiped at bone dragon and that due to a troll tank.
Regardless, both strategy works. Every data center does it slightly different.

Never seen it tanked in the middle except during one run. One run out of... I don't know now, 50? Maybe more?
The one single time it was tanked in the middle, there was even less coordination than you see when it's tanked north. No one was able to prevent the skeletons from getting past them, and everyone wiped due to at least 3 or 4 skeletons hopping onto Bone Dragon's corpse. Second try, went mostly okay until the final phase, and then all the eyes would target the middle with their AoEs. Healers were dying, dps were dying, tanks were dying. It was not pretty. By the third try, everyone had agreed to tank it to the north instead, and once we did, it went perfectly.
North seems to work out better than center, in my experience. And everyone's more used to it (plus it's a bit more forgiving if some people on the alliance make mistakes).

Interesting, I've always had it tanked in the middle. The most problem I've had was some trolling tank that piled 3! skeles on one platform. Twice.
