It is possible, of course, but what many of us portray or emulate on the forum may not be how we are in game... And as such, there is no way to truly know if we are being considerate of our fellow players as much as we claim we are.Difficult? Yes. Possible? Yes. We don't have to make this community like the rest. We can consciously make an effort to give a hoot about the human on the other end of the keyboard. All my years of gaming and being involved in several communities at all tiers and I personally think this thread is one of the best threads I've encountered in all that time. I for one, would like to make the effort.
Everybody knows the forums are the place for messing with people, not in a match.
That way we all get to read it and laugh.
I've never understood the need to yell at people really.
Or say anything for that matter.
Stranger danger, I don't know you people. :V

All we can do is try. No one's perfect.
No, of course not. We all have bad days, whether in game or just in our lives. We just need to remember not to take it out on others, but also note that it is just a game and nothing to get too worked up over... As long as there is fun to be had, let it be fun and not another stressful occurrence in life. A lot of us tend to forget that I am afraid...

If they can do it, so can we.
Evil is Evil. Lesser, greater, middling… Makes no difference.
If no one has read this. You really should. It really touched me, and I'll be honest I almost cried. I remember those days when you first started out. The struggles and the people who wouldn't waste their time with you just because you weren't skilled or better geared. I've played WOW and I know how bad it can be.
Playing on this game I haven't forgotten myself. And I've seen how people treat others just because of their skill or gear. I always tried to help new people. Most of the time the "bad" players are there is because no one would take them under their wings. Or show them what they needed to know. When I have the time I always try to do primal runs with new people or help them with their rotation in battle.
It's always rewarding in the end when you discover the person you helped has improved so much. And becomes much better player. All because you spent a little time talking to them.
It's why I respect people who take the time out of their day to make extremely in-depth guides to help others. Pay it forward.

I have no doubts our community will be civil among the competitive nature many of us carry, but I would hope people know where the line is and choose not to cross it.
