If they can do it, so can we.
http://us.battle.net/wow/en/forum/to...4486403?page=1No, of course not. We all have bad days, whether in game or just in our lives. We just need to remember not to take it out on others, but also note that it is just a game and nothing to get too worked up over... As long as there is fun to be had, let it be fun and not another stressful occurrence in life. A lot of us tend to forget that I am afraid...
If they can do it, so can we.
Evil is Evil. Lesser, greater, middling… Makes no difference.
The problem i have is right here. from what i have read, you are the i50/55 af trying to do pharos. now im not trying to be mean or hurtful or anything like that. it is just that to you its ok for someone to be under prepared for PvP but not dunegons yet to the pvpers out there this is their dungeon.I keep noticing people in PvP who are completely rude to others.
I've seen tons of people tell others they shouldn't even be in PvP because of their gear.
Now I fully understand that sentiment in dungeons (gear is tiered so if you get i50/55 af and try to do pharos you are wasting people's time)

That's not fair, I didn't want to go to Pharos but random dungeon queue picks it all the time. :<The problem i have is right here. from what i have read, you are the i50/55 af trying to do pharos. now im not trying to be mean or hurtful or anything like that. it is just that to you its ok for someone to be under prepared for PvP but not dunegons yet to the pvpers out there this is their dungeon.
Also, these forums are infinitely more fun than other mmo forums for one reason.
You can post pictures.
Except that I'm not, I have I70 pvp gear. If you would have checked lodestone when you posted this you would have seen i logged out in a few pieces (I have more but when im in town i wear a set that makes me look the way I want). So no, I'm not under prepared. -However- PvP gear has made little difference from i90 gear for healer. And most people in PUGs seem to get killed within seconds (faster than i can necessarily get any non-auto heal off), so sometimes i do PvP -partly- in PvE gear if it helps. I generally switch around at the start of the fight depending on who's in it and what expectations I have. The problem i have is right here. from what i have read, you are the i50/55 af trying to do pharos. now im not trying to be mean or hurtful or anything like that. it is just that to you its ok for someone to be under prepared for PvP but not dunegons yet to the pvpers out there this is their dungeon.
And to the PvPers out there, this dungeon lasts for 3 minutes, and there is no prerequisite that magically allows you to come up with the 10,000 or so wolf marks you need to purchase pvp gear. When PvP first came out the elite Pvpers were either in the low level warwolf (which didn't really help much) or in their normal gear.
For a dungeon you have to wait 30min sometimes to get in, and then are stuck for 90 min without being able to leave unless you want a 30min debuff
For PvP i've never had to wait more than 10min (even on dd jobs), you can die immediately, and still get rewarded.
If you want PvP to be this magically elite game where only people in i70 pvp gear+ are allowed to play, then petition SE to turn it into a tiered system that slots you based on your pvp ilvl.
As they didn't do that it's fair to say "working as intended"
The only thing that frustrates me is when I see people in darklight (or below) PvE armour. At least make the effort to craft/buy the ilvl 55 PvP stuff. It's better than basically wearing toilet paper.
Where there is PvP, there will always be competition, which a-holes seem to flock towards. Can't and won't be helped.
its a metaphor i wasnt trying to insult you i was saying maybe you arent ready for big boy pvp
SE implements a PvP system so that people can have fun with their game and have something else to do
And because I want people to have fun instead of insult each other and whine when they lose, I'm not ready for "big boy" pvp?
Maybe -you- aren't ready for a game shared with 1000s of other players who don't all have 100s of hours to devote to a repetitive mini game that is flawed and full of bots?
I personally do just fine in pvp. I just don't enjoy seeing people who think they are great at it insult new players or tell people to go die because they get frustrated. In real life there is something called sportsmanship. If a great team plays a mediocre or bad team they don't run around shouting "HAHAHA YOU SUCK". And the players on the bad team don't constantly criticize others and blame them for losses.
Team sports are team sports. pvp is a team sport. If you lose, it's your team losing. If someone is really good at it they will find a way to win, even when paired with people in i55 gear.
If you have to tell someone to go die, or that they are the worst player ever, because you feel so bad/frustrated about losing a 3minute pvp match, it may be time to take a break and go do something fun
Or conversely, create a 4-man instead of trying to play roulette for a good teammate.
Mew!
I think his main point was that some people (not necessarily you) believe they can get carried in PvP with sub-par gear, which can be frustrating for those who have hundreds (some thousands) of matches under their belt working hard at getting fair games without a full pre-made.I personally do just fine in pvp. This isn't to say people with ilvl 55 shouldn't queue; people simply need to lower their expectations for matches when they have sub-par geared teammates, as opposed to being rude and obnoxious.
