    Issues when downloading patches

    Please forgive me, but I am not very savy when talking about Utorrents, ect....

    The problem I am having is that my download speed spikes high, then plumments. I am always sitting @ 0 remote connections and the local connections change constantly. Every patch takes forever to DL....

    I read what people posted about Utorrent, but I have no clue what Utorrent is nor do I know how to DL patches via Utorrent.

    ANy ideas??

    Yes you need to port forward your router. it's not as complex as it sounds. If you google "FFXIV Port forwarding" you should be able to find an easy to follow guide.

    After doing that restart your updater and you should find remote connections no problem.
