I use mine nearly all the time, especially if I'm playing as a WHM. When I was leveling THM for swiftcast I used my ahriman since I felt it better suited the job. :P

~Quit moping, get hoping~
I've one but don't use it. It looks like is made of cardboard and the mane and tail look like expanded foam :x

Reminds me of my sister back when Ocarina of time came out. She was still in the single digits at time (and me only a couple years older) and liked to "Ride the horsey" around

I am working on getting it for my other character. I just enjoy the fantastical aesthetics of it. I love riding it when the weather is stormy, and I'm wearing an awesome outfit. On top of that, I envy the paladin/unicorn combo. There is something somewhat romantic and valiant about the combination. But I'm huge fan of knights, castles, dragons, steeds, and everything else that is associated from the Age of Chivalry.
I use the unicorn pretty much exclusively, mostly for aesthetic reasons of the others. It does suit me a little bit, however.
The magitek armour constant stomping footstep sound grates on me very quickly, so I don't use that one. The ahriman is queasiness inducing. The chocobo is boring. The legacy chocobo is even more boring. The couerl is so low to the ground it feels ridiculous to me. I don't have the behemoth yet, but I'm going to predict that will be a no simply because of it's sheer size. I don't have the nightmare mount yet, either, and that is the one mount that might tempt me to switch from my unicorn. It would depend on what I'm wearing likely...

I use it for WHM and Botanist travel. WHM because of the quest line. Botanist...idk, Unicorns seem pretty eco-friendly. =p
I'm too macho to ride a unicorn. it won't happen. Use Chocobo Full Barding mostly
