Why are there no gil fountains?

I make a decent amount of money a day from Treasure Hunts, duty roulette, crafting leves, and beastman dailies. It's not super fast, but it's consistent. Stop being lazy.

I've played less than 2 months, I run coil, and have a few crafts maxed or nearly so, and over 750k in gil. But yeah, I'm lazy for wanting more than pennies a day... get back under your bridge troll.

No, not at all. God forbid a new player should suggest something they've seen in other games or not fully understand every aspect about the game they are currently playing.

If you had 75,000,000 so would everone else. SE would raise the price of everything to compensate and your relative purchasing power remains the same.

Guess what, everyone who played 1.0 had 90% of their gil taken away, but because it happened to everyone, nothing changed.

Absolute numbers are irrelevant, only relative purchasing power is important.

20000 gil a day is a joke. 200000-500000 after serious 4-8hrs of work would be more acceptable, 20,000 should be from new gil the rest should be from other players.

We know a lot of the gil each server has and has been circulating was from 1-50 up to the point of 2.1 was roughly around 150k.

Meaning a server of 10,000 players would have roughly 1,500,000,000 gil.

If we give each player 20k/day after 2.1, every 7.5 days, the entire amount of gil on a server COULD technically double if everyone did their 20k/day.

Thats a lot of gils

Given that there is no real reason to be individually rich its not a big deal - yet.

That being said devoting time to the market can net huge profits.

Though I would like to see greater gil gain for non-market users. Theres no need, really, but since the armory system is designed for people to be generally self sufficient sans group content, things like individual housing I would hope can be obtained no matter a person's situation. Should have a low gil entry with a high investment ceiling. IMO at least.

And you are complaining about gil fountains? lolwut? I know for awhile, if you did the repeatable leves with HQs, you could earn 450k+ every 17 days(100 leves in 17 days). Don't know if they changed the bonus gil for 2.1 though.

But seriously, get back under your bridge. If everyone had 750k no one would be complaining about housing.

Yes, it is. You make a good amount of cash already. As many other users pointed out there are plenty of gil fountains that make plenty of money in the game right now. Most of the economy is balanced rather well right now with the exception of housing. The gil fountains are adequate for most players to farm money and buy what they need on a day to day basis and still put some into savings. There is no problem at all.

With that in mind I point out to this post in full agreement.
