Pray for a good team! But other than that, dodge AOE's, ensuna debuffs asap, also have the best gear you can currently get for your level is a definite help. I struggled as WHM when I first tried after hitting 41, but I also didn't have optimum gear on either.
stay a good distance behind tank, avoids getting hit by the firebreath
if the tank is also new tell him to take his time and be careful whenever theres a dragon-aevis near the trash
first boss - stay at his sides, when he sprints across the battlefield hes gonna use his big attack
second boss - stay out of the tornadoes, get one of the dps to use the cannons
last boss - remove paralysis off anyone that gets hit by the standard red circle aoe, when dragon is flying avoid any floor that glows red or white, good time to use sprint if you're a mage
Thanks for tips! I've watched a video but it didn't quite help.
Repose stuff, pray nobody else breaks it, enjoy easy healing life.
Watch out for those damned Aevis though, they suffer from insomnia.
As Hippy Pickles says.....pray for a good team!
I have only done SV about 5 times. My virgin run with FC, so all was good. My others? DF/DR. Hell on earth. We made them (barr one). Divine Seal was on constant circulation; trying to keep the maniac's alive!
Gear up and hope your team has too. SS is helpful in the 2nd Boss (I would reapply on tank with swiftcast when the wind was coming), and the final boss is a juggle of running, healing and esuna. If u have a caster DPS be sure to watch their de-buffs on the last boss...give them esuna hugs asap (yourself, tho, is always the priority).
I think its a full-on dungeon for healers, with lots for us to do. Even time now and then to DPS. I like it....but not when my team is suicidal![]()
Having done SV about 5 times now i can say the only area you may run into issues is the second boss. Parts of the fight some twisters will come out so you must always keep an eye out as they do lots of damage.
As soon as you see a dragon outside (near cannons) someone must use a cannon to shoot at it otherwise lots of damage will occur if you do not. Oh and sometimes the twisters will appear were the cannon is,
i suggest activating the cannon by standing on the side. Also and all of the runs i have done by far the one that worked best was a healer stood by the canons the entire time and would use them, this way dps and tank can focus on the boss.
The final boss is pretty much just avoiding ice damage, you will see it on the ground, there is a phase that he flies into the air> this is when he does attacking you must avoid
also there is circular swirling ice/snow indicators so avoid those as well.

Be smart about your regens. Most trash packs in there are three or more, so only use it once your tank has solidified their threat. Sleeping stuff can really help reduce incoming damage, but if you're with a WAR you may have to hold off until they get their Overpowers off. Sleeping is always a judgment call with WARs.
I agree, it's not a really hard dungeon, but when twisters happen on the cannons, it can make life rough for those trying to fire them. Most of it i remember avoiding bad areas, and if you and your team can do that, it's all good.
As Orophin said, being WHM, use Regen wisely - don't cast it on your tank before the pull, but after they've gotten hate. It's a big hate magnet if not used correctly, but, it can make all the difference by reducing the amount of healing you have to spam to keep the tank alive.
And as has been said, some mobs there can't be slept, so crowd control can be a pain at times (not to mention having DDs in your party with AoE attacks can wake up sleeping mobs, adding to the problem *cough* BRD *cough cough*). And the final boss it's imperative to avoid the conal/AoE attacks that are spammed. It's not impossible, it just takes some getting used to having to adapt to changing circumstances.
