did anyone else get it and also eventually ran into the problem of getting a message that you're not capable of actually answering the survey?

first I answer that I work in marketing > not able to fill out the survey
then in the middle of the survey I get asked why I didn't buy FFXIV even though I said I play it a lot. (I picked the 'other' answer and filled out that I DID buy it)
next, no longer 'able' to fill it out...

Usually SE does their annual player opinion polls by announcing it in the forums and on the lodestone. They later post up results. They call it a survey, if I recall correctly. Be careful clicking on anything you are not absolutely certain is legit.

I found the @xmail address suspicious so I deleted it.

It asked me if I would buy it. Even though as you, I said I had played it a lot.

BTW, that commercial. Anyone else think they blatantly stole the entire concept from SWTORs? Not sure if SWTOR was the first like that though.

EDIT: It goes to Toluna survey. And they are a legit survey company from what I know.

not sure, I think SWTOR actually uses the same poll page... but I only filled out one of those 2 years ago. I just thought it was pretty hiliarous that apparently the survey wasn't actually addressing people who PLAY FFXIV, or at least it was silly to automatically assume I've never bought FFXIV. because if that's their assumption, why did they ask me how much I play it? lol.

I guess they randomly sent it out to people who signed up for the beta or something and then didn't care if it was actual player or people who never registered the actual game later on. I kind of want to know what the questions would be after the one that kicked me out, but I don't want to fill out the other stuff again. haha
