After the OP's follow-up post and convenient use of "/rare", not sure if serious anymore... your forum avatar looks like the lead character in the recent Deus Ex game.
Try some of the suggestions in the thread and get back to us.
Oh yes I have multiple times: 3 people, 4 people, 5 people, 7 people.... I could open the treasure chest at any number of people. It's SUGGESTED that you bring 8 but you don't have to. The loot should be according to agreement before joining the group. Sometimes, it goes to whoever pops that map. Sometimes, it's free for all.
I can also confirm. We did a peisteskin map last weekend with 3 people, 3 chocobos and a summon.
Your statement is false nothing you say is true. The loot does not fall to the map holder and it's not random it gets placed in a que and is rolled just like in a dungeon. The very fact you say these things makes me think you never had a map drop loot. You realize that the loot is separate from the treasure items ?
That's right.. 150 shards goes to player A. 2 spruce logs got to player B. 1 trileon bulb goes to player C 1500 gil goes to player D ect ect.
This is the treasure that is guaranteed to fall randomly. The LOOT in which you roll on, happens a very small % of the time. These are the items i call /rare loot because it's the very reason these TREASURE HUNTS exist. to collect the very hard to find items. Such as the Blue Bird Minion. > my argument is this should always fall to the MAP holder not the rest of the group.
OP just sounds greedy. If you don't want filthy randoms getting "your" drops, then find a way to solo peisteskins or go with people you know will pass you everything that drops.
i use the term /rare because it's exactly what it is.
if the blue bird minion drops from peisteskin maps on average 1 out of 25 times
Thats 25 days of farming the maps > 18 hrs to reset. Then the likely hood of it falling to someone else based on a lottery / roll . Would be quite aggrivating don't you think ? What do you consider rare ?
Greedy ? Coming from a guy that has leveled fishing why dont you fish up a map and share your winnings.. after 25 maps and losing your /roll to every other ( Give Me - Give Me ) person in your party.. lets see how you feel. You of all people should know how long it takes to fish up a peisteskin map. On average takes about 1 hour of your time. So 25 maps = 25 days and 1 hour for each day.. = 25 hours of fishing. So GREEDY ? no.. your Insane.
I am constantly fishing up maps and sharing the winnings. I know it takes less than five minutes on average to fish up a peisteskin map. I'm moving into the "OP is a troll" camp because there is just no way you can be serious. I understand, however, why you have no friends to do maps with. You seem to be a negative, grumpy, greedy person. I think this whole thread is because you lost out on a bluebird, or some other pointless pixelated thing. Instead of wanting to hang out with people and make friends, you seem to be all about the stuff.Greedy ? 1/10 troll points.
This thread is hilarious. That is all. And yes, this post contributes little to nothing, just like most of the OP's.
