Dude just quit the game. MMO's just aren't for you because everything you complain about is just how MMO's are designed. You like gw2 which is a pvp focus game with story content. Most mmo pvers will tell you Gw2 is pure garbage. FF14 is a pve focused game two different genres. FF14 isn't your type of game stop QQ about the way the game is made and just play another genre. Because 99% of MMO's you will not enjoy.um. This game isnt 3 month old can we stop using that excuse? it launched a few years ago. And well, if they don't have enough content to support their players maybe they shouldn't have launched it or made it free until they do. It's a game we're supposed to play it, not wait for cooldowns.
lol. Brilliant solution, please work for SE! If every player who has a complain just "stop QQ and quit the game"- This game will be empty and die.
news flash, these forums are for feedback, please don't tell me what to do and not do lol. if I have a complaint it doesn't mean I don't enjoy the game or other aspects of it. I'm free to discuss about it or QQ as much as I want, if you don't like it you don't have to read it.
So SE should personally cater to an individual who plays 24/7 and give them new content every few days when they deem themselves "done" with current content?

I miss it. Gave a sense of accomplishment when you completed something. It was trialing at times though there's no doubt. But it made the victories all the more exciting.Ah yes, i remember what MMOs once were. Screaming for hours hoping someone would join that raid you were making and need just 31 more people to do. Wandering around that world of 4 repeating trees and rocks. Needing a small army to get any kind of reasonable experience. Losing experience on death, often costing 8 hours or more of grindtime. Finally defeating that uber raid boss that required half your server to kill, and getting a couple bits of silver. Yep, those were the days. Can't say i miss em.
This game is currently hard enough. My 65 year old mother plays and she will never get her relic because she no longer has the reflexes to dodge all of the one and two hit mechanics. I will never step into ex mode because I know where my physical limit is.
I'm glad that they plan on nerfing coil when the next turns come out. Coil is part of the main story it solves the mystery of what happened to Louisouix and bahamut. And I would be seriously bummed if I couldn't see it for myself because the content was forever beyond my skill limits.
CT can be as hard as they want because it's not tied to the story in a major fashion. I was furious to learn that the siege of ogrimmar was going to be a raid. People who wanted for over 3 expansions to kick Garrosh's teeth in can't because either they don't raid or just don't have the reflexes to handle the punishing content.
No more cast bars for Bard! Thank you, Yoshi-P! All hail our lord and savior!

I think what many of us are forgetting is that... The Zenith version of the relic is not the end of the line. I rather hope they take the data from the community and make the future upgrades much more difficult to obtain, and worthwhile. But on topic... If there were no lockouts, and everyone could just power through content (With Coil being the major one here) What would you do if you had all of your jobs geared up in i90, with your Allagan weapon because now it suddenly became easier to get sans the RNG hating you? Let's be realistic here, the vocal minority would not be here anymore... As many are not here anymore now.
People's problem isn't that they want the lockout removed to obtain all the gear they want; its the fact that the game was designed so poorly to have to put a lockout in the first place.I think what many of us are forgetting is that... Would you mind elaborating on how the game has been poorly designed? And also how locking out content somehow alleviates such bad design?
No endgame crafted gear worth using, no rare gear whatsoever, highest ilvl gear obtainable through buying from NPCs, etc.
None of these elements in this MMO, make its endgame/gear progression poorly designed.
I never said lockouts alleviate it, I said they're forced to use them as a result of their poorly designed game.
