    Unable to complete version check [30605][10009][19900][12029]

    I've tried to trouble shoot it with the proposed solutions but it still won't run the patcher after today's maintenance. What do I do?

    I restarted and now I get this..

    I tried restarting, different compatibility modes, getting a new boot folder, checking firewall settings. I even uninstalled and when I went to reinstall, it wouldn't even go to the launcher because of that error. I don't want to have to reinstall windows for a game. Nothing is working.

    just got off the phone with then , They said They have this issue with people Downloading game Via Digital Download on Explorers like Google chrome, Opera , Etc Firefox and internet Explorer are Fine . I talked to Cliff who I have spoken with many times for FFXI problems also suggested making sure all Folders under properties don't have Hidden or Read only Checked Both must be Blank in every Folder and the obvious Clear cahce cookies ETC etc .... Ive been wanting to do a Re wipe on pc anyway So im Clearing pics vid's etc and gonna install Windows 8 on main HD with ffxiv , my sata Drive causes to many problems for this game .. Good luck hope u get it fixed and Under stand my Gibber jabber ......

    I had the same issue and was using Google Chrome as my default browser. By doing a temporary default switch to IE I was able to get into the game.
