PvP gear downgrade question.

Just a question about level 50 pvp gear in the lvl 30 and 40 arena. Do the stats of these gear downgrade to zero? or do they just get a slight stat nerf?

Morale has no effect in level 30/40 PvP. All other stats are reduced to what the caps would be at ilvl30 or ilvl40. Thus, wearing regular gear means potentially higher stats because Morale is taking up a secondary stat slot on the PvP gear while having no effect in return.

The strongest gear for those brackets are those with equip level of 30/40 but a higher item Level. For example, my BLM had a lvl 40 equip Wand which had a ilvl 43 on it. It was considered the strongest available wand and it was dropped in Stone Vigil. Any equipment above lvl 40 equip requirement will be standardize down to a flat same stat even if secondary stats are different.
