Currently when no one needs or greeds an item in the pool, the items in question randomly gets shuffled into people's inventory who opt not to pass. However, now that we have CT's loot system, I don't think such a system would work out well when anything can happen such as disconnects, real-life emergencies, etc.

I had a situation where a family emergency came up during a middle of a CT run. Since I was in combat, I could not leave the instance since that was implemented in the last patch. Because of how the pool system works, I was automatically given an item that I did not want and could not pass due to said emergency. As such, I wasted my item privileges for CT for that week.

In hopes that people that end up in my situation don't have to go through the same thing, why not just make the default time-out action as auto-pass? Clearly if you're not paying attention to the pool, you do not care to want the item, so why have it shuffled into your inventory by default?
