Forced to loot item in Crystal Tower

I was running with a group in Crystal Tower this evening and we killed the last boss. These dragoon leggings dropped and I didn't want them; I don't even have dragoon leveled up. What makes it worse is everyone else left before I could leave and now I got stuck with these pants.

Is there any way to get rid of these ugly pants and get my item reset? IMO, if the game isn't even going to give me the opportunity to reject the pants, it shouldn't flat out give them to me, and it definitely shouldn't count as my weekly item.

Multiple threads on this one... But to answer your questions nothing you can do about it except make sure you pass and S.E. knows its an issue and is working on it... I am thinking next patch should fix this issue but this has not been confirmed...

That's the problem... people raise a lot of issues up and nothing is ever said... That's why mmore threads the better about serious issues. People running to fan sites for unleashing annoyance isn't helping, either.. these forums have almost no moderation or responses from SE staff.. that's why there's a high level of annoyance.

Same thing happened to me last night, everyone left while i was looking at stats on the item, bam in my inventory while i was trying to hit pass on it.
I'm pretty pissed off about it, since it is now going to stop my gear progression on my alt for another week.

I've made another thread about this on this sub-forum, you should post in it just to raise awareness.

If you are going to gate people on loot SE, then at least release a non-broken half ass'd system.

I read somewhere that they are aware of the problem and that they will fix it in 2.15
