This is definitely possible, and can be a major step-up from FFX's version in regards to pace and dynamism seeing how it'd be played using players over NPC's.

Of course though we'd need to overcome the hurdle in learning how to swim first of all, little less play a sport in it.

I love how people think this game is some sorta of KH mmorpg. FFXIV really seems to lack of his own identity.

Not agreeing they should add it or not, but in response to the "the game wasn't as fast paced as advertised" people, remember the physics engine wasn't as powerful at the time. A new rendition of blitz ball would probably be a lot more interactive and play completely different than FFX.

Would I play it IF they did add it? Yes, assuming its done just right. Do I think it will ever be added? Probably not, but weirder things have happened so who knows.

I don't see blitzball with all player controlled characters working too well.

i would rather see a version of Tetra Master come in before considering Blitzball. And if they did have either one, it would be in the Golden Saucer, not the PvP arena.

I thought the gambling area was called Platinum something. Its like right next to the Pugilist guild in Uldah.
