Naw, I agree that it's bad. But until they fix it, making a 1,000,000th thread isn't going to do much about it. I'm sure they'll patch it eventually. My comment was more for the lag spike part.
All, I appreciate the insight to ISP issues with throttling.. but this has nothing to do with the point. Stay on topic please.
Too easy to game the system if they do that.
Ahhh, I see. I was thinking something more along the lines of the loot just dropping (or perhaps staying in the chest) if no one hits need/greed.
I had someone in a ls complaining about this. It turned out he intentionally did not pass thinking he could still need/greed another item. His wife spilled the beans on him
I agree being able to get locked out this way should be fixed, but I think it just needs to require a roll to obtain any loot item in any dungeon. It should also allow a person to pass if they have lotted accidentally.
The auto-rolling is pretty flawed, to be honest. It has its merits, but that was before they finalized how CT rolling works I think. Either that, or it was just an oversight that they are looking to change. Whether or not they rectify that is going to be something we have to wait and see.
This should be a pretty simple/easy fix. As well as making people complete the instance to get their loot. Had enough of people bailing after getting loot on the first boss.
You forgot non-100% droprates. What cap have guildhests?
