    Tiny tank help

Hello everyone. I play a Lallafel and have mostly played mage jobs but I've jsut starting leveling Warrior. In groups, due to my character tiny stature I've been having trouble keeping track of him in fates and group. Other than keeping my name plate up is there any other way I can make him more noticeable? Beside zooming in and loosing sight of the battlefield.

Welcome to the world of Tiny Tank-dom, though to be fair, I've been calling myself that since I unlocked PLD XD

If your talking about fates (which isn't the recommended way to level a tank- you should instead level in dungeons), I recommend turning OFF other PC name plates. Make sure to keep party member name plates, I also recommend turning of self name plates.

Also turn off others spell effects. I know ffxiv is a beautiful game, and I hate to recommend this, but you don't want that level 3 Mage limit break to blind out the battle with its super meteor explosion of awesome... You as a tank have a responsibility to maintain complete fight awareness, and loosing sight of your surroundings can be bad.

The last thing I can recommend is jumping when you loose track of your self. This gives you an immediate visual on your location.
