Isn't it too early to jump to shark. We are still on the opposite , the decline: the game launch was superb, 2.1 gave us a lot of disappointment. 2.2 (and 2.3 mostly this summer) may be "jump the shark" attempting to save the face and playerbase logging back..

Happy Days was (and still is) in syndication in many many countries other than the United States.

I can assure you 'jump the shark' is NOT a common phrase in Germany. at all.
I did know the origin. I knew the phrase.
I knew it in English. it does not exist in German. just because a phrase catches on from a show in one country, doesn't mean the same happens in other countries, especially when it's countries where a show gets dubbed first and it takes months - or back then - YEARS before the show is even shown. in fact, the episode aired over here when the show was long since cancelled in the USA
