I thinking about taking the hit for you all

Since I was a tank in DCUO, how hard can it be?
I'm a healer now in FFXIV but might as well try something new
So I'll be getting all those mobs for you to get them off me while popping CDs and hoping the healer heals the shit out of me lol

Now leveling my pld lv 34 now and its harder than i though because people expect you to lead and keeping aggro on multiple mobs can be tough but now i understand more
Everybody should play one of each role to get better at their main job

I too am working on leveling my pld, which means farming DL gear on my 50's and doing my Daily Lowlevel and guildhest duty roulette. And I'm somewhat scared about what its going to be like at higher levels.

Duty Roulette Guildhest: Load in, say hi, before healer can cast protect brd, blm, or other dps starts fighting mobs while the rest of the group runs to catch up, I spend the rest of it spamming flash and riot blade.

Yes, I realize that some people just want their daily reward and to move on, but rushing like that is silly.

Duty Roulette Low-Level: Speed run the everything, skip every possible mob, and AOE the everything. Honestly, any dungeon past copperbell you would thing bards/archers only had quick nock set.

But based on potency it is most efficient... Until the only thing i can do is spam flash to hold hate at these levels. Then my damage output is nil.

My Warrior is ilvl 77 and my Paladin 70. I love tanking. You get instaques for quick myth/phil tomes each day and it's much more fun than DPS, IMO.

We need more people like you, well done! I don't think DD's realize that tank and healer are the toughest jobs in the game, and think it's ok to curse at them when things go south. But most of the time, things go south because DD's don't follow the directions of the tanks, ie. marked targets etc.

I've had DD's call my RL wife horrible names because they died when she was the healer, even though we still completed the duty, and there was another healer in the party. I'm sorry DD's, but the tank and the healer are most important, sometimes the healer will have to sacrifice a DD in order to keep the tank and healer alive, because if either of them die it's game over, but a party can survive without a DD.

I've never been negative to a player in the game, I don't understand why people think it's ok to be so mean to other players. If you wouldn't say it to someones face in RL, then don't say it in the game.
