Necro'ed this post because while searching for info on Frontlines PvP I found this little gem.
"Dragon Battles of Ishgard: Campaign of battles against the dragon horde in the defense of Ishgard, with participation possible as any of the four Disciplines."

Devs have since come out and said there's no future plan to include DoH / DoL in any "endgame"-esque content. Frontlines is/was also suppose to include DoH / DoL in a Battle of Helms Deep type battle ground. One group defending the fortress the other attacking, siege weaponry (DoH create/repair) was said to be used.

Sorry I'm late to this thread, but I was just wondering if you might also post pics of the other entries to Louisoix's journal? I only started playing less than a year ago, and haven't been able to find this new year's post by Yoshida that you mentioned at all.

Funny thing is they've since changed their minds on that, if the description of the airship exploration in 3.1 is anything to go by.

It's always kinda amusing to see old threads dug up to see what was known and speculated at the time.

The 'Pages From Louisoix's Journal' are a reoccurring part of Yoshi's New Year's Greetings at the start of each year, usually hinting at things that will occur in the story to come that year. Hence they can be found rather easily on the Lodestone. Specifically, here you go:

There were also ones done for previous years during version 1.0's service and the intermediate period between 1.0's shutdown and the launch of ARR (in other words, 2011, 2012 and 2013), but they were sadly hosted on the old Lodestone which has since been shutdown. But a check of the Internet Wayback Machine should be able to find them.

I'm not really sure what links or keywords I'd go about using to find them. Might you have saved them and perhaps you could share them again if so, as a temporary upload?

As an aside, I've also read in one of Fernehalwes' posts that Yoshida shared japanese lyrics for Answers. I was curious as to whether you might have a link for those too?
