Anyways, the class has better sustained than everybody, amazing burst (maybe highest in the game) when setup, and even the quick on demand burst is very good, has great utility, a pet to interrupt with, and the list goes on and on.
Even outside of damage they offer more than probably any other class.

Throw in the damage and it just gets silly.

Maybe the class is built around it, but not having very many cast times as a caster opens them up a lot to being very strong.

The reason so many summoners don't believe their class is THAT over powered isn't simply because they're greedy and want to have an advantage in pvp.

This is actually incredibly common and happens all the time. :l
