Scholar and Eos vs Titan Extreme

Hi all, just wanted to ask around if ye all are experiencing Problems with the slow acting Eos in Titan Extreme aswell? She rarely seems to move Swift enough and gets caught roughly 50% of the ae-attacks. What do you do to prevent it from Happening, or are you unable to do so?

Or do we maybe Need some Fixing/improving for Eos for These kinda fights? (less AE-damage, swifter AI, immunity to some ae-skills?).

Please post your opinion, thanks :-)

I set her North East right outside the orange ring and leave her there the whole fight

Since all pugs insist on stacking for reasons I've never fully understood (masochisim?) in these groups I place her more or less right next to titan's left hand (when he is facing the tank). She won't get hit by stacked sands here, and the occasional landslide isn't a threat to her.

If the group is spreading out and everyone dodging on their own (imo, the much better method) I just leave her on heel. She might get clipped by double sands, but nothing a sustain can't handle.

People do that so you don't trap people in others plumes. You clearly haven't been to the back to back plume phase

This is correct. Early phase bombs are unlikely to knock out your fairy unless you unluckily place her somehow in range of two or more bombs. If it happens, you can easily re-summon before the final phase begins (which is the only phase where you wouldn't have the time or MP to revive the fairy).

Fairies will survive Tumult and Geocrush/Earthen Fury easily.

Landslide should be a conal attack always toward the bulk of the group; mini-Titan landslide is always a threat, but unlikely to hit the fairy if the mini-Titans are pulled to the West end.

Weight of the Land should always be stacked behind the group and never even close to the fairy.

Mountain Buster is a conal attack towards the tank and the fairy should be far away.

Except I reference double plumes / "Back to back plume" in my post lol. And mention that eos might get hit by them (you know, since she's on heel).

And yes, stacking is a good strat for double plume, but why bother stacking for all the rest was my point (no need to risk someone lagging on every plume set when they could just dodge nomrally and only take the chance on double).

I've never heard someone refer to plumes as "sands" but, okay. Also, not stacking for plumes is chaotic and much more of a risk than "lagging".

It is really easy to get caught in a position that you have no option other than to eat other people's plumes.

We could argue back and forth on this, but even if you have to eat a single plume cus its "chaotic" you won't die to one sand. My point is simply that with minimal effort (such as having the group stand in a line behind titan, or jsut fan out and pay attention) you can completely remove the chance for people to die to any plume other than double. Simply put, spreading out (either in a line or more randomly) make it so sands aren't an all-or-nothing situation where you either dodge them all or die out right, generally more pug friendly.

Also, technically speaking, the attack is actually called "weight of the land" so neither "sands" nor "plumes" is completely accurate :P

I never understood why Plumes is a term used for any and all circular placed ground AoE just because of Ifrit.
    Seems lazy. >,>
