I don't normally ask "what class are you" before inviting people.. but I found this fate group setup pretty hilarious.



And this is why dungeons need an even bigger EXP buff (outside of Roulette) in 2.2...

Square, please consider increasing dungeon EXP even further for 2.2. I am very pleased with 2.1 but when DPS queues are 30-40m it's more optimal to join a FATE group and level that way.

Spamming Flash in FATE's and getting Gold reward for them is much easier than doing actual work in a dungeon and getting ragged at for being bad...this starts a vicious cycle where they don't want to up their game and take responsibility in dungeons, preferring to spam FATE's, then not knowing how to tank when they eventually have to grind for tomes.

There are soo many bad tanks at 50 because of the FATE system.

FATEs dont make them be bad tanks, they are bad tanks cuz they are bad............ i leveled my pld via powerleveling during 1.0, and never played it till 2.0, right now, i have yet to hear of a single complaint about my tanking style, and only had a few blms and smns that could pull hate off of me in 2.0 (pre-shield oath/defiance enmity buff), and now rarely see any dps come close to pulling hate off of me

dont blame a system that makes it easy, blame the idiot that refuses to get better, the tool-tips alone help alot

but i do agree, they should boost the xp per kill in the dungeons, or add xp to completing the must do list in the dungeons

Or maybe they got sick of doing the same dungeons over and over. Or don't want to play for the whole 50 minutes of a dungeon. Or want to do other things while they level.

Ironically, I made a tank and exclusively level via dungeons once I reach level 15 because I've seen so many bad tanks I have to make one myself to get a good tank and make sure others don't suffer the same FATE (of having to put up with bad tanks)

We'll I've picked up playing as a tank after 2.1 and LOVE the dungeon exp, especially roulette. While FATE sure are stupid easy to earn gold on...one time I earned gold while starting in like the last 30 seconds of the Fate, nothing but flash and a few quick hits.

I still FAR more enjoy the dungeons. But then no one's ever complained about my tanking. In fact I've walked out with loads of commendations just for level grinding in dungeons. Yet if others have had to deal with abuse I don't blame them for skipping out.

Dungeon experience is great the reason it is a ton of tanks is because no one wants to deal with tanking them.
