    I, personally, am completely fine with not being shown exact effects of stats. But then I was weaned for fourteen years on a game that's entire design philosophy was immersion so numbers were highly obscured, except where necessary to the interface. E.g. you could see your strength statistic and train it by spending points you earned by levelling up skills, but you couldn't see any numbers for things that you did with that strength or even know for sure that strength was being used in a given calculation. Even things like experience were obscured. You could see your percent to the next rank in a skill, but not how much experience was actually needed or how much you earned for doing things. Think of levelling Skyrim's skills for a similar concept.

    I can certainly understand why people want to see everything in this age of instant gratification, but I don't feel it is necessary.

    I have no problem with crit chance not being shown. While it's nice to know, (for most games at least) enemies have a resistance to Crits due to their stats, causing a visible crit chance to never actually be right.

    There's also a few mechanics still broken that haven't been mentioned by Devs, despite being reported at least at launch (Esuna curing Leaden from deepcroft, being able to avoid doom)

    Sigh, this just feels so archaic. This is the same thing as taking away the HP bar and replacing it with a text box that reads either :Great, good, poor. Just give us the numbers in black and white. I don't see how giving us some random number increases the funness of your game at all.

    I appreciate you asking and mentioning this to the developmental team, BUT...this is one of the most robotic rebuttals to a question I've heard in a long time. They might as well have said, "well guys, stuff goes up and stuff goes down".

    Anything would've been better. ie "problems with pvp" "busy working on new classes" "trying to combat RTMs" "we have no plans to do this".....anything.
    This is bad public relations. A lot of this community has overlooked some of the glaring problems with this game because we are adults that have an understanding of what it means to give someone/something a chance. Don't make the mistake of assuming most of your player base is 12 with no real life experience of understanding when someone is blowing smoke.

    I have to agree. I didn't really like it when I first heard it and now it's become a rather horrendous, special kind of torture. Thank the Twelve that Coil and primal music at least gives some reprieve, but damnit, I want to hear the Pharos Sirius music MORE. It's so beautiful, and then... it's gone.

    Heh, funny/sad thing is, they've almost done that with how you can't see health % of mobs/bosses (something that seriously needs to change).
