    I agree with the OP.

    Particularly on the stats being a bit more transparent.

    I'd like to know exactly how STR/DEX/Parry relate to your parry reduction and parry rate; a visual percentage in my stats window is much more convenient than having to swap all my gear and gather monsters and run a parser and back-calculate my rates while trying to pinpoint the tiers or caps on a chart.

    Just show us the damn number in our menu.

    Half the arguments/theorycraft in the tank forum is over assumptions and mythical numbers that eventually leads us to no conclusion, or one unable to be proven.

    New battle music please or at least an option to turn it off so that we can listen the default dungeon BGM. How hard can it be to add more tracks in-game?

    I'd really love for a dungeon music loop option, the battle theme is so tired at this point. Boss theme is even worse. Just let me listen to Pharos sirius...

    While I never do PvP, this raises a sense of urgency on the idea I had a while back to put a number underneath the health bar of your target telling you how far away it is (4y, 10y, 15y, etc). Originally I figured it would be a good idea for ranged stuff that can only be executed at a distance (like shoulder tackle), but if distance determines damage in PvP, I would think it would be a much smarter idea at this point, far better than just eyeballing it and guesstimating distance.

    I can't even explain how disheartening it is that Community Reps respond to posts about having freckles on the aesthetician, yet threads like this with legitimate issues that affect everyone get overlooked or ignored.

    TERA does this and I highly doubt it would be impossible in XIV. Good suggestion.

    Hey all,

    We brought up some of the issues raised in this thread and wanted to share the responses with you now:

    In regards to showing the chance for critical hits, the team remarked that there are currently no plans to display this in the UI. Players can assume simply that as the stats that affect this grow larger, the effect will become greater.

    The team is currently looking into an option to "skip all" cutscenes. The team has also been looking into a better incorporation of Chocobo Companions including allowing you to register for Duty Finder while having your companion out, as well as riding your companion while he's called. While the timing for these hasn't been decided we'll keep you aware when we hear more.

    Hvinire can you relay to the team precisely how insulting this sort of response is to the player base?

    We do the math with our stats and we know how to observe and extrapolate the tiers and formulas for how stats work and at what rates we will see changes in those effects. The point - it's a waste of a player's time and effort to do so when the exact change could simple be displayed in our character menu.

    For instance - Strength changes the amount of damage blocked/parried when you successfully block/parry and the damage reduction percentage is a static value. To see that value I have to go outside and get attacked and proc a block/parry to see it. People have already tested point for point what the effective change is - and saying "as the stats that affect this grow larger, the effect will become greater" is untrue when your system has hard tiers where you literally will not see a difference in the effect until you reach a certain goal number. Add the percentages we're asking for in the character menu. It's not a complicated request!

    Sorry if I sound harsh but I don't like being lied to and having my concerns trivialized.

    It's....really not insulting at all, it's basically saying: "Use common sense, the larger the number the greater the %." Having it shown is more of a convenience than necessity.
