    Yes it takes away from game emersion when I see a giant red star by a mobs name, furthermore when I’m running around as a 50 pugilist its incredibly stupid to see a see of red dots of rank 20 mobs heads. And it adds to confusion when every aggressive mob in the game has a red dot over their head and it doesn’t go away when you are a rank they no longer aggro

    I agree that you should be able to at least turn it off, but i do think it takes something away from the gameplay, some predators whould be sneaky and able to ambush and surpise you, not have huge signs showing where they are and what their intentions towards you are :P

    Why was this even added to begin with? It's easy to figure out which mobs are aggressive, they are the ones that eat you un-provoked.

    We are talking bout the big red dot, not the names. I wish to see the names not the red dot.

    I know what is being talked about, but I am saying that there already exists a way to toggle it off, which is by toggling the names. One of the arguments mentioned is that we shouldn't know that the Eft is hiding in the bushes; it's name is as much of a give-away as the red dot, even if the red dot makes it visible from farther away. If you don't want to know that Eft was in the bush, which, btw, would be pretty obvious considering its size, just turn names off for that "realistic" feel since we also shouldn't be able to tell exactly what beastie we happen upon.

    I am not saying that a more refined toggle option for say, aggressiveness, monster names, and player names would be a bad thing. I am merely stating that you can already take the red dot away.

    EDIT: In a vein along Drexel's thinking, I think it would be nice if the dots no longer displayed when you were high enough level that they no longer aggroed.
