The only role with any ACTUAL responsibility is the healer, and even then the responsibility only exists because you have one job. Everyone has one job. It's not some magic thing where suddenly tanks and healers do more work than any other member of the team.
Tanks need to know the fight before hand or they will get the most hate from others. They are responsible for pulling and positioning. Also they need to be the most geared to absorb damage. Healers for the most part, can just basically react and heal.

Everyone is responsible for positioning. Everyone should know the fight before hand, the amount of hate a role gets is irrelevant.

I have yet to read any reason as to why tanks have more responsibility than any other role. Every reason I've been given applies to every other role except pulling, and I'd imagine eventually there will be situations where the tank pulling will be dangerous. Not now, but eventually. I could also be entirely wrong, but then pulling isn't really hard, but I couldn't argue against it.

They should but you can get away with it more often than not with other roles.

Responsibility? Completely depends on the fight. Tanking Titan HM, for example, consists of spam combo and stand and look pretty. Meanwhile, DDs have a tremendous amount of moving around, dodging, continually DPSing. They are the ones responsible for burning the heart down before total wipe.

Again, DD roles like BRD have the responsibility of silencing potential wipe mechanics in endgame. Pre-50, knowing when and what mobs to sleep can prove vital. And so on...

I admire tanks and healers for taking up (what I view as) less engaging/exciting roles, but I don't value them higher than good DPS. There is a balance to these things.

i love the people that choose said dps role for lack of responsibility and not causing that wipe, and takes time blaming the healers or tanks for it.........they are a special kind of stupid imo

I believe if the tank jobs had let's say wielded a greatsword or something else more exciting id definitely be a tank but hey thats just my view.
I play both warrior and paladin, and enjoy both a ton better than healer or dps. You get to deal with more mechanics, positioning, its basically a dance you do to keep the mob at bay while your team kills it, and your the director.

Tanks seem to get more drama for anything that went wrong. Most people are like "screw this" and play DPS instead. It is hard to take all the hate when something goes wrong.

I dunno basically look at the new mechanic on the EX primals which makes Tanks work harder

also solo tank Turn 5 on Twin

positioning, add holding, Stunning, etc etc

Coil T5 and EX primals if your tank doesn't know whats up you will wipe all night long
