OT Garuda X: any tips for dodging Chirada's Downburst?

Hi,


I've been running Garuda X for a couple of times already but I haven't been able to dodge Downburst while tanking Chirada.
I know exactly when it's coming but haven't found the timing to get in her back without her turning around and hitting me + the melee DPS.
At the moment, I just IB it and take the reduced damage...

It doesn't break the run at all but If I can a healers focusing on the MT for double WW, I'd like to do it.
I've also been trying to dodge on the side by straffing so that I don't put the melee at risk but she still turns with me...

Do you have any tips for it? it there any signs I should be looking for?

Nope just take the hit. Reduce it what u can with CDs but def not some deal breaker. Just try and wait for the target on wait 1sec and run thru her. If it hit melee anyway it will be divided between all of u.

Your WAR is over gears for Garuda Extreme, just take it and get def skill up to reduced damage.

No point to get behind Garuda and sister, Downburst usually unavoidable unless you are running, if its hit melee DPS attacking Garuda and sister, they are doing wrong now.

Garuda X basicly is a DPS encounter. If you got good damage there will be no big hits at all. If your dd´s aren´t wellgeared or just don´t do good damage you (the tank) have to live with big hits and have to reduce em a bit for the healers who will have exponential more work to do the lower the dps is.

If the DPS is too low to burst the add(s) before their burst ask the offtanks healer to toss stoneskin on the melee-dps and dragoons will be fine. undergeared Monks might want to change to their def-stance.
