So they gave revive some immunity...

...but has anyone noticed that when you revive someone, you cannot actually heal them until immunity is removed?

I understand that the idea if for them to allow you to avoid aoe, but if the minute you lose immunity you're still low on hp and you get targeted by I dunno, say Tank Purge, you are dead. In addition, if you use something consumable like lustrate, it will simply target your character despite you clearly being able to target newly res'd character.

    What's up with that?

(I also understand this is a gameplay issue, but there is no dedicated forum for this particular nuance)

Noticed this as well, very annoying and just gotta hope to time your heals just on the right time.
The "immunity" is pretty much a fairy tale anyway. DoTs like the poison in Crystal tower still go through the immunity.

It prevents mechanics such as landslides or frictions on the extreme primals, which is nice.

The immunity is nice but often times heals are waisted because it casts it on myself. I notice the spells to through when the raised character goes from a stiff standing pose to a relaxed standing pose, but that's too subtle and just not something I'm trying look for when I'm in the heat of battle worrying about 7 other peoples health and what moves the monster is going to do next.

One can still be hit by some AOEs, including medica while I'm not sure about succor though, and i know faeries can heal whilst raising.

The biggest issue with this is that there is no UI indication as to whether or not the player is able to receive heals. If they would just show us in the party UI somehow - greying out their HP bar or something - that they are not yet healable, we wouldn't have to deal with the frustration of guessing when the person can receive heals... and then accidentally waiting too long because you don't want to waste mana and seeing them die because of it.

That'll probably be hot fixed as it seems like a bug. If it allowed you to cast a heal on them but they were immune. That way you could precast and have it land when they just finish immunity. That way you can heal them up faster but they'd still be immune while raising.

You can still heal them while they're immune, just not when they're immobile. One way of seeing when the immobility wears off is if you have a BRD playing Ballad or Paeon and seeing when the buff appears on the person that just got raised. Also, immunity wears off the moment you perform any action, so you could simply have the newly raised person sit there and do nothing for a few seconds while the healers throw some heals their way.

The main issue with it though is that they shouldn't be targetable if you cannot heal them. I like your idea on it, but one of the above posts is correct, since there is no UI indication and you are able to target, healers wind up losing a substantial amount of potential heals while running around avoiding stuff.

I'm glad they added the immunity, I just wish they would have set the system to not allow you to waste heals on a target that you cannot actually heal. Range creates a red outline around the skill; whatever you wish to call the precursor to the mobile immunity should also have a red outline. That would make the process smoother. (So I guess this would actually fall in the UI category, thank you for solving that)
