SS for BRD

The two highest DPS bard I've seen on literally every end game fight are speced into about 475ish SS, the bards stacking the other two stats (crit/det) have always been lower(by a large amount at that). So, are these two just really good?

Those bards with the 475ish skill speed are probably just more comfortable with the fights than the other bards, which means they're just overall better than the other bards out there. I stack crit (sitting 598 in accuracy setup with accuracy food or 611 in full crit setup) and I have yet to be beaten by another bard on my server. Granted, the better bards are typically going to be paying attention to boss rotations and making the right choices of when to use cooldowns for maximized usage throughout the fight. Secondary stats aren't going to help a worse player do more dps than the better player.
