It increases Bard DPS, but it increases it less than equivalent amounts of Determination, and much less than equivalent amounts of Crit.

Crit > Dtr > SS > nothing

It slightly deceases GCD. The scaling on it is really poor right now, much better off taking Crit and Det anywhere possible.

The two highest DPS bard I've seen on literally every end game fight are speced into about 475ish SS, the bards stacking the other two stats (crit/det) have always been lower(by a large amount at that). So, are these two just really good? Or are all these other brd I've played with just really bad/bad rotations? Serious question here because it's been driving me nuts trying to figure out how in the hell these two have been doing much better in SS builds than the cookie cutter crit stacking everyones doing.

Those bards with the 475ish skill speed are probably just more comfortable with the fights than the other bards, which means they're just overall better than the other bards out there. I stack crit (sitting 598 in accuracy setup with accuracy food or 611 in full crit setup) and I have yet to be beaten by another bard on my server. Granted, the better bards are typically going to be paying attention to boss rotations and making the right choices of when to use cooldowns for maximized usage throughout the fight. Secondary stats aren't going to help a worse player do more dps than the better player.

Sadly, since it seems 90% of the bard community uses macros for their 3 main abilities (SS, VB, and WB by adding BL and ME to them), Skill speed is completely negated as macro's force a slower GCD. I'm not saying skill speed is an important stat but for most bards, they aren't utilizing it at all because of macro use.

I would like to see what gear setup you have for 600+ crit for a bard, I dont see the numbers you can use to maximise that much crit.
