selling game time on Playstation Network

I was wondering if it was ever possible to implement this. I went today to go look for a way to buy a game time card but had no idea what I was looking for so I was wondering how hard would it be for SE to sell game time in the PlayStation store

I don't see why it wouldn't be possible since other game companies do it but my experience with Square they probably won't do it.

DC Universe does this. It would be a hell of alot easier to pay for this game since PSN basically runs on dollar amounts.

Lol. I'm aware. Still it would be easier. Then again there's probably a fee SE wouldn't want to cover.

It does this because it fully uses PSN for authentication. As far as I know FFXIV does not.

this to sell game time on PSN the only way it could be done is by having the mognet accessible within ff14 itself since it uses a SE account with a PSN account as both security and authorisation

to the DCUO example this game has only one log-in the PSN account so they can directly sell the dlc and time (i think its bonuses now since its f2p) since it can be easily auththenticated by the PSN while theres no way to auto log in to the SE account via the PSN
