How will the adjustments affect people already melding?

I've wondered this for a few days now. I've already resorted to saving my wolf marks because of the anticipated changes. However, a few buddies of mine have not. Some of them have the higher tier gears already melded with various pvp materia set ups.

If SE does reduce sleep and bind durations for instance, it could throw off some peoples breakpoints they worked so hard at achieving.

What would be an appropriate solution? Remove everyone's pvp materia and give the wolf marks back?

    Thoughts?

Well considering they had no problem blowing 1.0 hard work of melding don't see why the 2.0 stuff wouldn't be a problen

Without major changes to interruptions on mages, it would destroy Blm if they nerfed sleep. I honestly don't see SE changing all of that.

In Yoshi's post where he asked players to stop jumping, the only class related change I can recall him making was something about Smn. I honestly wouldn't worry about it.

I don't think they are going to nerf effect duraitons because these materia exist. It would honestly be a dick move to nerf all this stuff after people have invested time and points in obtaining one of the avialable counters.

If they do, the cynic in me somehow doubts they'd give refunds or replace the materia you spent, but it would certainly be a nice thing to do if they did end up changing things.

Personally being a squishy target I intend to get stun resist instead since usually other people get slept and they go for me first (But who knows, depending on how much they nerf SMN that might change).

    I feel the same way.

I haven't bought very many sleep materias, but I know some who have for the specific reason of using them with a sleep ward pot to almost nullify the second sleep.

I also agree with not nerfing black mages to the point of they become almost useless. I don't think the durations are in line, but they're a necessary skill for sure.

I'd be kinda mift if I had say 4 melds to achieve a breakpoint, only to find out post patch I could've hit that breakpoint with 3 and saved a slot and wolf marks. It seems this will be inevitable for some without full refunds.
