2 button MNK macro?

Depend on wich macro.
The one i've listed earlier is great for when your skillbar (like mine) is full and your finger can hardly reach all the skills.
The one i've saw for Fist of Fire/Earth looks good too, but i've set all the Fist of **** into F1/2/3 so it doesn't matter for me.

All monk's abilities are usefull. If you don't use macro, either you are playing with a mouse/keyboard with more buttons that the majority have.
Some people that don't use macro can also be more bad that thoses that use them, i bet a lot of Monk never switch to Fist of Earth to handle Big/2H damages.

I use a gamepad, don't use macros and still make use of all my abilities (including changing of Fists for certain situations like movement or big damage) just fine.

Any chance that you could share your xhotbar set ups? I'm on PS3 and have had to map some of my weaponskills to D-Pad buttons which I hate. I switched to MNK for my Coil team and am still optimizing.

One thing I found to be a massive help was the additional L2+R2 Crossbar you can set up. I have all my AoE attacks set to that in addition to long cooldown abilities and Fists of Fire/Earth. That way you free up your regularly used abilities for L2 and R2.

On a Pad, you can reach every button.
On a keyboard, i can hardly reach 6,7,8,9,10,11,12...
So i'm using instead, Ctrl / Alt + A,E,R,1,2,3,4,5 and F1,F2,F3 and ²
So we are trying our best without macro, but why not using them when it's helpfull and not really brainless ?

I even put the skill in disorder so i don't hit everytime 1,2,3...
