Ohh. So it's mostly Myth gears.
Gonna take some time I guess.
Edit:
Eh? No love for EX primals' gears?

I have all Myth and allagan pieces and i just can say that there is no BiS in this game since acc caps change on bosses and since we just have parry as a tanking stat ( ssp , det or crit dont make a huge diference ).
I wear some gear in one boss and other gear in another boss and i think im not the only one doing that
There's a problem with "BiS" for WAR and that's that there are actually 2 sets you need: one for OTing, one for MTing. OT one should maximize STR and Determination, whereas the MT one should maximize VIT and Parry. Allagan Battleaxe is definitely the better axe for MTing as it provides extra VIT, STR, and weapon damage as well as enough accuracy to afford using the Allagan Flanchards (higher parry) - this is also helpful for OTing as those same flanchards provide +11 Determination. HQ crafted acc are also BiS for OTing as they provide, y'know, more STR/Determination.
Basically, your BiS changes for what you're doing in that fight. Don't try to stick to one set if you can afford to use different pieces.
I see no reason for you as an OT to focus on increasing your damage if your purpose is to be...well...OTing the stuff that would normally kill an MT.
Adding in those stats doesn't raise your damage nearly enough to really end the fight a significant amount.
Well it depends on what you'll be OTing. Twintania doesn't require the OT take a butt ton of damage, so essentially becoming a DPS who tanks some things there's no reason not to build for STR and DET. For EM Primals both OT and MT have stuff to actually tank that hits hard so you can't build for STR/DET in that situation. Survivability is important in most fights, but there are times when Parry will be practically worthless and your damage output (no matter how small) would matter more. Plus WAR can burst down a Conflag like no one's business.
Anyway, it's pretty easy to determine BiS. Just take your main stat, get that as high as possible, stay at the accuracy cap for t5, and build your set around parry. Allagan helm, Myth chest, Myth gloves, Allagan belt, Myth pants, Allagan Flanchards, Allagan necklace and earrings, Myth wrist, Allagan ring, Hero's ring, and finally Allagan axe. There's your BiS for tanking, glhf.
Parry is always useless really, and should never be considered in terms of survivability due to the nature of how it works.
As a WAR, you'll burst hard no matter if you are Heavy tank geared or DPS accessory geared, and it kind of matter.
Even if you use full DPS accessories through gryphon skin, the fight doesn't end much more shortly.
I believe someone calculated that at best, it saved something like 4 globals.
Of course that may have been an exaggeration but that is true in that you shouldnt worry about your damage too much.
But we're talking about BiS. @_@ Even if it is shaving off 4 GCD, that's the best you can get for your role as (essentially) an extra DD. If you're tanking it, there is no other stat outside of VIT that mitigates any damage for WAR besides Parry. So stacking Parry is kinda what you have to do. It doesn't scale well (honestly, no secondary stats do scale well except for linear ones like accuracy) but it's all you've got to work with.
Just to be clear: BiS is sort of pointless at this point of the game, that's the reason you have these objections in the first place (and why I agree). You'll get the most damage by using DPS gear but it's minimal. As long as all your pieces are i90 and you're at accuracy cap for t5 you really shouldn't be worried about obtaining BiS as it will be quickly replaced in 2.2 with higher ilvl pieces.
