Motivation for paying for a carry sometimes comes from desperation for a competent party, not a lack of personal skill.

Wish I could have put it this well myself. These happen to be most of the people we take with us. There was a Summoner with us once that didn't take a single hit the entire fight and even had the understanding to cast Virus and Eye For An Eye on incoming Mountain Busters. After he expressed how much fun it was to fight Titan around players who knew what they were doing. I told him not to worry about payment, but he paid anyway.

I don't blame people for not wanting to use the Duty Finder. It can be horrible at times.

What bothers me about selling Titan or em runs, only goes to feed the nature of beast. You carry someone to get there relic and they never learn the fight, you could instead of teach people the fight. I truly do love doing Titan, when I'm not lagging, but I would never sell a run. It's selfish, if they had the gear and would put forth effort I would help them and teach them the fight. So that they may help others. Because an unselfish act derseves another.
Selling runs just goes to prove the selfish nature of this community and generation in general. We have and economy it's called disciple of hand.
At least on my server there are a lot of great people that will help with Titan and I encourage these linkshells and free companies. Please report primal sells to discourage this behavior.

Selling Primal runs are not against the ToS. Selling Primal runs are no different than a crafter selling his/her wares. It's a product someone is offering and people are willing to buy it. I see nothing wrong with that. Besides, the people complaining about Primal fights being bought because it makes bad players; never would of grouped with those players to begin with. You people are the reason this occurs.

I do teach people the fight, even the paying ones. I do help people with Titan for free, though I also sell runs. I also sell runs to people who already have their Relic and are working on another one; seeing as they don't always have friends or company members around to help them, and a cheap fee is preferable to wiping for hours on things that are out of their control.

I help 10-20 people out a night with Titan Nyssa. Tell me you do the same out of the goodness in your heart? Report these actions all you want, because not only is this not against the rules, but it's also providing a service. It's because of people like you that SE customer support is throttled; wasting their time with your trivial and misplaced sentiments.

Those that buy there relic usually don't run again and those that do wasted there money. I thought I heard it was wrong, same as an rmt spamming, but could be wrong. Show the future of this community though. Those that can't do the battle should learn or not have there relics. Those that do should be helped not forced to pay.

Selfish people always justify selfish things. If you help one person for free. You should help them all for free. Btw I do things out of kindness of my heart, 2 of my LS do it and I help out when I'm not lagging, guess what I do it for free. The party finder is great now, since my FC and LS are farming it( well when the lag is better) we can just make a group for people.
SE should step in on this since well its a form of RMT and people fell for those all the time.

Not all Titan HM buyers are bad players by the way. Myself and my company sell Titan runs to earn gil for our plot. We get no end of people buying runs that have simply had enough of Duty Finder groups. We will probably do the same with Titan EX, once we can guarantee success; so that people, like yourself, can play along side other people that know what they're doing.

Just thought I'd address that misunderstanding.

Do you also think people who sell items on the Market Board should be banned for selling items that people cannot craft themselves? Maybe they should also craft things for free instead of charging people?

There is a simple solution to your problem Nyssa, and let's not be mistaken here, it is your problem; whenever you see someone doing a shout in Mor Dhona selling a Titan run, follow with a shout something like this:

/sh I will clear Titan Hard Mode for you; first time, free of charge.

You can keep that, maybe even throw it into a macro. This way we lose out on business and you get to be Mother Teresa to all Eorzea. You're welcome.

Though by now enough Titan runs have been sold that a relic isn't an indicator of anything, which devalues it, which annoys a lot of people who got theirs without being carried, because it makes their accomplishment meaningless.

Relics became meaningless when 2.0 launched.

Fun Fact: The pre-nerf Ifrit Hard in 1.0 was harder than Titan hard in 2.0, which was still easier than the 17 minute dungeon speed runs and most of the job specific leves for the relic quest in 1.0.

In my opinion, and I don't think I'm alone here, Ifrit Extreme in 1.0 (final fight for relics) was more difficult than Twintania baring the twister gimmick (pre-nerf).
