Cross server IDs are awesome in wow. I had a long list of great players on my wow friends list that where only there for instance farming. None of us ever talked we just worked well in the instances and could get them done quickly so we did them together.

I'm hoping they get around to that at some point. WoW really did something great when they implemented those IDs.

* The sad thing is that FFXIV turned RDM into a turret, and people think that's what it's supposed to be. It's supposed to combine sword and magic into something more, not spend the bulk of gameplay spamming spells and jump into melee for only 3 GCDs before scurrying back to the back line like good little casters.
