Please stop begging for commendations.

There are few things more pathetic when, after a dungeon is through, someone starts begging for commendations. If you distinguished yourself, you'll get one, maybe. If you beg for them, or tell people to give them to you, or yell at them like a whiney little child (yes, that has happened) or even threaten people for them, you pretty much guarantee that you will never receive one from me. Yeah, that golden magitek armor is pretty cool looking, but good GOD, have some freaking dignity! People are not going to respect you or commend you if you're trying to beg or otherwise weasel a commendation out of them one way or another.

I honestly haven't seen anyone beg for them. Out of the maybe 50-75 runs of various things i've done since 2.1 launched, only 2 people even mentioned them.

This, it hasn't happened to me either.

But in case it does; Beg for a commendation means you get none.

My simple rules for a commendation:
Tanks/Healers: Impress me! If you have not impressed me, as a DPS my vote defaults to the other DPS, if that DPS happens to be begging for one or manages to be an incredible moron then I press the cancel button and exit.

If you are continuously begging for one during a run then I will personally ask for a vote-kick, or leave.

jeah it's pathetic to beg for votes, i mean hey if you are a nice guy you'll get your votes too. I got my 500 already without begging for votes. One time i told a guy who was begging that i won't vote him and he flamed me afterwards

eh i just close my eyes and pick a player i couldn't care who i would think about it if the commends did more then vanity like let me queue more with a player but nope if someone begs it at leasts saves me the hassle of picking a random player xD

When someone specifically begs/threatens for a commendation, I always start typing things like, "porcupines float" "you can taste by smelling" "pi=3.1456789".

Whenever someone asks for one I just say, "earn it dude". I think I get some for just saying these things.
