I dont think that reporting people is going to do anything honestly. I have only seen a few people hopping around in the matches that I have been playing. And just because Yoshi P "asked" the community not to jump around alot doesnt mean he is going to ban people for doing it. Also maybe if they would let people test their content before pumping it out, this would of been fixed before it was released. And people need to quit calling people cheaters for using an exploit in the game. How many people have exploited WP speed runs and Chimera bugs?
Yea asking how something is a reportable offense and not going along with other people that have absolutely no grounds to actually claim such offense is reportable. What wrong with that guy, huh? Whats next, reporting someone for sprinting because someone asked them not to as well? I mean, it makes them hard to hit.
It's like playing league and watching ppl get reported for not saying "gg" at the end of a game. People who are angry have a report option, and they have absolutely no self control after they lose a video game![]()
I will from now on report anyone who is sprinting away from me, because that puts me as a melee at an unfair disadvantage since I need TP to hit people and cant sprint with them
You guys are missing the point, it is an exploit not a mechanic....
You have both Invigorate (120 second cooldown) and Enliven (300 second base, 180 second upgrade) available to you to restore your TP after popping sprint if you want to catch up to someone.
reporting people for interrupting my casts because it does not allow me to heal
It really baffles me that people can be quite this thick. The jump exploit is not comparable to sprinting or casting interrupts. Those are established officially documented mechanics that function as currently intended within the pvp arena.
The virtual invulnerability granted by staying airborne 99% of a pvp match however is an officially acknowledged exploit specifically discouraged by the games producer.
Lets imagine that through some programming fluke that if you /sit while in the pvp arena you become invulnerable. Would you rationalize that because you can be interrupted while casting it's perfectly acceptable to level the playing field by spending 99% of the game sitting down whenever someone targets you?
If someone is clearly exploiting the mechanic I report them, and if they're on my server I personally call them out on it. The worst case of the exploit I have ever seen was someone from my server, they were jumping so much that at times it appeared like their character model was frozen in the jump animation and just floating through the air, and I warned them against continuing with their BS before more people reported them for it.
