Hello!
I leveled my BLM to 50 only for PvP tired of be heal always.
But... Is a hell do DPS in wolves den, after use surecast and equanimity how te hell ppl is doing dps ? i use swiftcast for sleep or for flare. All the other spells they interrupt me cause i'm the focus 90% of times.
Also theres a big problem, when target is in front me and I start to cast something, if the target go to my back, the cast is interrupted... I know with mouse you can change direction while casting, but I play with controller and dont know how to change the direction while casting.
Can someone tell me some tips ?

try to have better positioning before you begin casting, dont stand close to your targets and try to cast something unless u know your gonna get that cast off cause they can easily just go behind u, start casts with your back to the wall or at a medium range so they have less chance to walk behind or to the sides of you. Some people have had luck with controllers using the auto target, i believe default is to click in on the a control stick? iirc, or numpad 5 on keyboard,

most blm i run with, wont try to dps until they get everyone slept, using the aoe sleep at times when u can get 2 or 3 people at the same time. When they do dps they will just cast fire 1 and hope they get a proc, but sometimes blizzard or other things happen as well, I'm sure someone else would be better qualified to explain their "rotation"

Dump your controller. Im sorry to say, but BLM and controller just simply dont mix. Being able to rotate your character very quickly and precisely is very important as BLM for the LoS reasons you complained about. If you absolutely cant use a keyboard, see if you can set up your controller to "lock on" to targets.

I agree with this... It's sad to say that PC is the way to go rather than ps3... PS3 is just too slow for alot of players.
