When you get synced down to low level dungeons, all your gear is set to NQ white gear stats. If you're having trouble with aggro, it's not a gear issue.I've just started playing a tank character and have been using the low dungeon roulette to get the bonus experience to help level. However there are also high item level people queuing up for low dungeon roulette and it can be hard to hold aggro on 3 different things when you have 2 i70-i90 geared players picking different targets to attack. I'd be pretty upset if I were vote-kicked for this.
Some of you guys have a really twisted view of griefing.
If you're shit at your job and hold everyone else back - you might get kicked. Suck it up.
People warned SE to not put kicking in their game. The way we got it it's too easy to boot someone.
Personally, I'm upset because that mentality of yours is disgusting.
I do not argue with trolls. Entertain yourself with someone else.

It's really disgusting how people are still looking for excuses to kick. Do none of you know what "spirit of the law" is? Just because the ToS or patch notes or whatever does not explicitly state that you are not allowed to kick for whatever reason you want does not mean that you can kick for whatever reason you want. SE has very clearly stated that kick's function was to expel afks and griefers and that is it.
And for those of you saying griefers hide behind the "newbie" wall, do you have any idea how many times I've seen people get raged at or outright kicked with no explanations at all? Here's a very easy way to differentiate between a newb and a troll: give them advice. "You mean I actually have to type something constructive instead of "Y U SO BAD FKIN NOOB"?" Gasp, shocking, I know. Point out their mistakes, give them some tips on how to fix them or improve in general, and give them three or so more chances to try it out and/or get used to it. If they ignore you or don't even try to improve, then at that point you may -- somewhat -- reasonably kick them. Until then, no excuse. If you still don't want to go through all this, then make your own party so you can set your own rules for what is allowed and not (and thus kickable). Again, no excuses.
This lack of patience and tolerance is what is ruining all games, be they MMORPGs, MOBAs, RTSs, etc.

What I find personally disgusting is that fact that you don't have any counter argument whatsoever. Well done on the +1 post. You suck, you get kicked. Don't queue up and waste other people's time.
I came to play, not teach everyone how to play their class when they had levels 1-50 and guides on the internet, if they don't want to learn that's their fault. A tip is something like "Hey don't stand there, when he casts that, come over here" a decently geared tank who can't keep aggro is someone who doesn't know their rotation, which means they have to be taught how to play their class.
No. If you don't know it by lvl 50, you don't want too.
Good for you. My point is that if you're using duty finder, expect to see some new or bad players, and kicking them is not the answer. If this is PF, as I've already said, kick to your heart's content (provided you have a valid reason to).
If LoL is proof of anything, it's that the average player is really bad at mashing buttons and clicking on things. My philosophy is that trying to help someone, even if you have a 0.01% chance at succeeding, means you have less baddie to deal with in the future and one more person who may stick around to improve the longevity of this game. If you rage or kick instead, you've just guaranteed that same "baddie" will go "ruin" other people's runs. All because you can't be bothered to spend a few minutes to type a few lines. Should they look up guides? Yes. Do they? No, because a lot of these people are your 1-2h gamers who spend all their time at work or family and then come on to play for an hour or two.
If you disagree, fine, I respect that. To each their own. Just don't abuse the kick.

This forum frowns on swearing, so I'll avoid name calling the jerks that vote kicked.
Maybe its just me, but when someone screws up or fails at something, my first instinct is to assist the person or help anyway I can. Not throw them under a bus...
I used vote kick for the first time theb other day. We load up stone vigil and immediately tank says, "I didn't want this dungeon, go ahead and vote kick me." I respond with, "if you don't want to do it, leave and eat your 30 min penalty." What piss'ed us off was what he said next, "no, I will just wait you out then and go make a sandwich." I kicked and reported him.
