    I love how people don't read the full post and think.

    It really does all balance out.

    Very few attacks would interupt casting so casters would be able to cast and healers be able to heal

    There would be low incentive to run around and not fight

    8 second cc which you are all yammering about is equivilent to 20 second cc if you don't change the GCD to 1s Also under my sysem sleep is actually harder to avoid try getting around that corner from a 1s cast.

    Its not an earth shattering nerf its a 33% nerf to duration

    The major thing is right now someone can be CC'd far too often between sleep stun bind and slow. Not having any control of your character or gap closers for when you do is frustrating and stupid.

    In exhange for making pvp faster limited the immune period from 1 minute to 30 seconds.


    Right now pvp is a joke this would make it a lot better

    yeah you are right I did play wow before and I enjoyed the pvp cause its balanced. Its clear people here the few that do pvp who aren't bots enjoy the imbalances and enjoy queueing up as a sch and their 2 smn friends to roflpwn noobs shrug I give up.

    As a healer I naturally have mixed feelings about being interrupted simply by being hit, but at the same time, I really don't want the game to be a situation where healers can heal all day and the game never ends until someone goes OOM. If I were to be able to cast even a bit more than I currently do, I'm not sure games would end very quickly. WHM have giant heals, and SCH have bubbles which allow them to cast even more, anyways. The only thing that completely and utterly destroys me is miasma and storm's eye stacking, and I think it'd be silly to make it feel like you have to have these things on your team or it's magical healing arena instead of death match (especially if they nerfed the two stacking). I like that the current system forces me to think on the best time to use equanimity and surecast/swiftcast, as well as utilizing walls/pillars to quickly get casts off.

    Sure, you can balance everything out by sucking the life out of most game mechanics, but is that really a good idea? No, it isn't. Besides that, we did read the full post. Most of your ideas are whacked. Making all CC effects the same duration regardless of the actual effect is stupid. Stuns are more potent than sleep, to make them last the same duration would be folly. Not all CC effects are created equal, nor should be their durations equal.

    I never said make all durations equal I said set the maximum duration at 8s or if you like keeping the 2.5 base gcd I can't think of another game this slow can you if so name it? Then a 20s maximum. With reductions to 4s or 10s if you keep the gcd at base 2.5 and finally to 2s or 5s if you keep the base at 2.5s gcd

    The important point was that all of the CC type effects are on the same diminishing returns.

    For example someone casts sleep on you for 8 seconds at the end of that time the next CC effect on you is 1/2 effect so then stun you get at 1s now lasts for 3 seconds.

    If you don't like speeding up the game turns my proposal is for the first sleep lasts to 20 seconds and then the next CC effect has 1/2 effect the next cc effect after this has 1/4 effect and after that you are immune.



    Also not one person has commented on the regular skills not interupting casting.
    To me this is a huge design flaw and makes it impossible to have any other play style except run in circles
