    Proposed changes to PVP

    1. Make PVP CC work as follows.

    All forms of character control loss bind/stun/slow/sleep have their initial durations be a maximum of 8 seconds and all on the same timer. For a maximum of 8 4 2.

    From the end of the 3rd CC effect you are CC immune for 30 seconds

    2. Regular attacks no longer interupt casters, but all interupt/silence effects have no DR and are instant with animation lock etc removed.

    3. Sprint is removed from PVP

    4. No form of ressurection is permitted in PVP

    5. Pets cannot be resummoned deal 1/2 damage/healing.

    6. Place all skills used in pvp on a 1s global cooldown/cast time the game is just too slow at 2.5s

    7. Disable auto facing for pvp

    8. Dsiable jumping in pvp

    Sleep maximum duration of 8 seconds... takes 2.5 seconds to cast with no Spell speed Max Spell Speed cast of 2.2 seconds. IF that were the cast I'd be ignoring Sleep and just Fire 1 and hope for a Firestarter proc which is more promising.

    The idea is sleep takes 1 second to cast lasts for 8 everything takes 1 second to cast lowered by spell speed/skill speed.

    Combat is too slow and boring and CC just lasts too long too much time out of every minute you can't do anything.

    Have you ever played a blm in pvp? Nerf their sleep to 8 4 2 AND take their sprint? What is next with your 'balancing'- perhaps a requirement that all BLMs have to automatically go mid at start, use the sit emote, and wait to die?

    I feel that you didn't think this through. Your saying you want STUN to first last 8 seconds. followed by 4 followed by 2? so no purify means stunned for 14 seconds? you dont think 14 second stun isnt more OP then sleep right now?

    Most of what you suggested is so absurd its not even worth addressing, but I'll say one thing about CC:

    Not all crowd control has equal effects, thus not all crowd control should have the same durations. Stun lasts shorter than other CC because it is a total disable and it can't be healed or removed by anything other than Purify (And thus, you can attack without breaking the effect). Sleep can be removed easily by damage (thus you can't use it on something you're attacking and by leeches/esuna, Bind also can and does not disable actions as long as the target is in front of you. Heavy slows you down but does not disable you. Finally, resistance materia reduces CC durations and you are expected to have it eventually, that's why the materia is obtained through PvP- it is meant for PvP equipment. status resistance has a substantial effect with enough of a quantity.

    Also making stun 8 seconds would INCREASE the duration of every stun in the game. (lol)

    Slow? boring? you can't be serious. This isn't a twitch action game. 1s would be insanely fast. JUst because you have a miniscule attention span doesn't mean it needs to be altered.
