    PVP improvements

    I have over 600 matches and I'd like to see some of these changes to pvp. I'd like to say good job to the SE dev team especially on balance

    Matchmaking is none-existent I still see people queue up with me that are in their first match. It would be good to get some sort of match making system. (elo calculation)

    3 man premade is a little strong for solo queue. (potential elo adjustment for the number of premades in solo queue?)

    Minor job adjustments. Things are pretty good overall however SMN may be a touch strong. Its far from op but miasma, raise and tons of burst seems a little unfair. A small adjustment here to one of those 3 things and they will be in line I believe. Their abilities should be more in line with BLM for example BLM provides strong cc and lots of damage but can not raise, etc. (we need a little here, not a lot as I said before things are pretty close)

    Bonus wolf marks for queuing on jobs that are in high demand (healer) to make queues for other jobs faster.

    Another thing, either let people know what classes they are vs. or don't. Peering through the gate is dumb.

    You don't understand. The PvP sucks so bad that hardly anyone in their right mind actually plays it anymore. You want a matchmaking system? Do you also want to wait an hour for a queue with people of similar rank to yours?

    Plenty of classes can get Swiftcast Raise, but classes like THM don't get combat Raise.

    THM loses BLM's strongest nuke (Flare) as well as the 2nd best CC (Freeze).

    There should be a battleground setup and a Que when you chose to play that allows you to represent 1 of the 3 GCs. Then from there a cap point battleground setup or an attack/defend map zone with rewards for notoriety/wolf marks and maybe an option to unlock a OMGWTF this is a OP dungeon with separate vendors and loot exclusive to that area. So Lets say its a A/D Cap point zone and 1 GC has 66% of the map complete.(i.e. towers or keeps) Then the GC they play for opens a portal to the dungeon (any can go thru of that company) until they lose. That dungeon has better drop rates, better gear, and open end pvp for any still logged in there. Good times! 3 way pvp is the best!

    Keeps could have Doors, and since the game already has mechanics for entities on maps to blow up other things (lvl 50 end game maps) they could easily use the same thing for trebs/catapults/battering rams as well as allow FCs to Claim a tower/keep for a bigger bonus on defending the immediate area while XPing the guild.

    I understand very well. The PVP system is in its infancy and is surprisingly good for something so new, it does need a tune up, it needs new games but overall they did a wonderful job on the basics. Now.. Just because you have a match making system doesn't mean a queue time will be any longer. What it means is the people in the available queue of similar skill level will be matched together.

    These are positive things, mostly inspired by League of Legends that should stand as a model for SE for how to get it right as it's the most played PVP video game out there.. there is a reason for that.

    1. Matchmaking/Ranking system: Players should play against similarly-experienced players. You should rarely see a match-up of a rank 30 vs a rank 1 unless there are next to no players in queue. This will encourage players who haven't been farming Marks since patch day to jump into the arena, as they are currently very discouraged by getting roflstomped by players who are already in full i70 (or even i90) gear.

    2. Battlegrounds: A very valuable addition which will attract players to PvP who want more than arenas. This will also give players another option to gain Wolf Marks at the beginning without just throwing themselves at the arena and dying over and over because of the gear/ability difference.

    3. Slightly better rewards for 4v4 matches: Incentivizing this ever so slightly to encourage people to queue up as 4. Right now the 4v4 queue is so bad, that no one queues for it, which perpetuates the cycle.

    4. Enemy Target Frames: No-brainer.
