What to do with useless Darklight gear?

I save some stuff in my retainer, BUT, if you're going to discard it, at least trade it in for company seals.

But..company seals have absolutely no use x_x I'm always capped and trying to find any possible way to waste them. I wish you could give them in for at least a small amount of tomes or something.
