What to do with useless Darklight gear?

I play at a relatively slow pace, so forgive me. Now that I am buying things with myths, what do I/we do with the darklight gear that is of no more use? Store it in the retainer? There should be other options for this. (Sorry if this has been brought up already, I tried searching the forums with no results.)

You pretty much answered the question yourself. Just store anything that your not using in your retainer.

Or level another class that can use the same gear. Unless you're monk or bard, at least one other class can use the same darklight (whm, sch - war, pld - blm, smn).

I discard it. I don't like collecting something I really didn't want in the first place so when I get better I toss it. Not that I'm getting much Darklight, some pieces just aren't worth getting for some jobs, iLevel be damned.

Yup, keep it on retainer for when they release new jobs that can use it years from now~

Thanks for the responses! A bit sad about having to discard it, though storing it in the retainer for future classes might not be so bad, but they would be taking plenty of space. Hopefully SE thinks something up about this.

You can keep in retainer for now because 2.2 will bring vanity so you could use it if you like any dl gear looks or wait for them make them possible to convert to materia of IV 100% or even the V (I said V because I see the catalyst for V but no materias around yet).

You could always store it and then wear it when vanity system comes out.

I plan to keep mine in case they made a way to turn them in for something useful later on like other tomes, gc seals, or something... I put so many hours into getting them that it just seems wrong to discard.
