Something big is going to happen in Coerthas in 2.2 (POSSIBLE SPOILERS)

The quote directly hints at possible new story line developments in Coerthas.

It might seem weird to think this is the case, and a lot of people are quickly jumping on the bandwagon that this is hinting at new classes, jobs and ETC. But I'm here to tell you that's not the case!

POSSIBLE SPOILERS

Someone might possibly be killed in Coerthas (or maybe even Ishgard?!)
The reason I believe this is because, Lances are prominent in both Gridania and Corethas/Ishgard. However because the word rime is used in the journal it most certainly points to Corethas/Ishgard because rime means frost and those are the only two lands we know of with frost.

The last line talks about spilling crimson over the fields of white which simply close the deal on it being a snowy land, and crimson is often another word for blood. So this journal entry could possibly be talking about someone being assassinated in Corethas/Ishgard!

Your thoughts? I personally believe it could be the Holy See of Ishgard, which would open some new lands in Coerthas and hopefully give us some new land that we've never explored. Or it could be one of those we interacted with during the main storyline?

Of course, Rime-kissed blades makes me think of Enblizzard for some reason...

Could also mean someone that's been laying low until now and has decided to strike.

like you i feel that something really important will happend to ishgard, since after sometime we will be able to enter the city but...
maybe the arrival of a new class.

"lance of light herald of Dawn," it's can be seen like the knight of ishgard
"beckoning shadow deeper still." it can be seen as doing something that will lead to more trouble. like open a passage to some sort of enemy until now ignored or don't know.
"splendor dance with shades" it's seems to really point Ishgard, it's a magnificient city, and where you have light you have shadow
"unsheated, a rime kissed blade" the rime part talk of something link to the ice, that lead in the way to shiva
"spills crimson o'er fields of white" no way to not understand that we talk of coerthas and that a battle it's about to begin there.

on the other hand, it's a good way to describe the thief or assassin, i wish badly that the thief and ninja are added, maybe i'm not really...
