    I was wondering the same... but if it's a faction leve then I have some researching to do, because I'm in need of an updated shield lol!

    Hold that thought! Might be some new shield reward quests added tonight. I tried reading the patch notes but was too much to take in all at once (thats what she said) will read it again while I wait for this patch to finish dl'ing...

    Well, you certainly can buy a Shield with Flame Seal, which is rewarded from Grand Company quest...

    hahaha thanks Mariyah! I did The Maelstrom quests up to Devices. I'll see if I have enough seals. Curious if every city has the same item list to buy from...i'm guessing no lol

    No they are different, Uldah offer GLA shield while Grid offer CON/THM shield.

    a low level nm drops a shield. I think its the sheep looking one. You can find info on NM's and drops on ZAM.com

    You're thinking of Downy Dunstan, but he doesn't drop the shield. He drops the Loyalist's Bilaud, the R30 Conj/Thm attire.

    The NM that drops the shield is Glutenous Gertrude, a dodo in La Noscea.
