More quests with large XP rewards...

I love the addition of the new quests. They have added a little bit of life to a game that has felt devoid of life for a while. What I would like to suggest is the addition of more quests that reward XP in large amounts similar to the amount of XP you get from completing the main story quests in the 30+ range.

Having these large amounts out there serve as one more goal for players. Lets be honest nobody really likes grinding. To know that once I hit that next level where I could complete a quest that will help me bang out half a level by getting it done adds that much more incentive to keep going. I'd love to see more quests like this. Any in game milestone like this should come with a large xp reward. The more content that gets added to the game that doesn't have to do with leveling the more I'd like to see more stuff like this pop up.

Here are just a few examples of some quest ideas I have.

    1. Daily or Weekly quests that have to do with hunting NMs. This could be in an instanced or non-instanced form. The latter involving increased XP rewards. I know you already have the incentive of getting NM gear from them but I'd like to see larger mobs that if I got a party together to go take down that I got a nice xp reward in return for my effort. This might be a nice addition to what I hope will be the daily company quests that companies will eventually offer.

    2. Crafting quests that require a group of people to accomplish. You could put a timer on them with a limit of 4 ppl per group trying to produce a certain number of items. You could have it be guild specific or have it require people from a variety of professions. For instance the setup for one quest could be that you're helping prepare for some huge banquet. You need to create banners, food, and some special clothing for the organizers and staff to wear and you've only got x amount of time to produce the items. The payoff being a nice little cut scene from the event and a heap of XP for your time and effort.

    3. This is sort of generic but you could use large xp rewards to try and point people towards areas of the game that are not currently being used enough or effectively. For instance giving everyone 500k xp for properly putting a party together using the party search function. lol

Any other ideas? What's your opinion on having quests that give such a large amount of xp?

The reward should equal the effort. Right now, that is not the case in the least.

Let's be honest; I like having to actually make some effort to get where I want to be. Having a capped class should be a distant ultimate goal with lot of new activities to aim for in the meantime and not a "sigh why do I have to level to get to the good stuff at the end..."-hindrance.

Therefore, I completely disagree with everything said here. Sorry bro.

I think maybe I missed a key point in my original post. I didn't mean for this to devolve into the game is too long make it easier to reach level 50. I'd just prefer to see some more variety added to how we level up. I personally see no problem with the amount of XP the current main story quests reward you with because I do think it takes a significant amount of effort to reach the levels you can acquire those quests. When it comes to them adding more ways for us to level up I'd like to see them do more then just introduce xp chains and give a boost to how much xp a party can make vs. what someone can do solo.
