This is a stupid change that needs to be reverted... I can't do fates because last time it spawned there was 30 people? now my 10-15 players are gonna die..

3 full-groups couldn't even kill the adds before courl king in South Shroud because each add was taking way too long to kill and were dealing damage equivalent to a boss.

revert your FATE changes to 2.0 please.
So do something else until the next pop of that FATE when it will be easier cuz nobody did it since it was too hard the previous time? Am I missing something here?

And FATEs bred nothing but bad players, good riddance IMO. Yes I know there are still plenty of terrible players at high level, but it's getting better.

why so much hate? bad players are ones who do not help others but bash them instead

I'd go on hours and hours grinding FATEs, to me they were fun. Doing Copperbell Mines for the 40th time wouldn't make me play any better than now.

Dungeons require a commitment of 40 or so minutes for each run, are always the same and before Stone Vigil, are kind of boring IMO. I don't understand why SE did this, when people in WoW complains daily about the dead world and the lobby game.

glad to see I am not the only one who can see this, if anyone doubts this go run around aleport / quarymill / costa /revans and count players. The only ones you find are doing crafting leves or farming mats. It has become old world of warcraft ffiv style

Perhaps not, but doing Sunken Temple or Brayflox or even Hauke manor that many times might. Try Story mode titan that many times and if you can do that flawlessly, just about all other content up to end game should be easy

I have no idea if they played bad, but all you really had to do was follow the crowd, spam aoe, level. What i do know is though that there were some of the most obnoxious and rude people doing the fate grinding. Threats is you did the fate the way it said to do them, didn't use loopholes to grind more xp, I'm looking at you DD and similar fates. :P

I've done every fate fine that i've attempted after the change, with as little as one other person. This is the CT fates included. You just can't faceroll now, oh well.

Doing Satasha for 40 levels isn't making people any better than Fate grinding. I had to actively not use Roulette to start learning to play my classes.

    Inorite.

Low level dungeons don't teach you anything. Fates don't make bad players. Stupid people will always be stupid and I find it very hard to believe all the people arguing against fates are actually any good at their jobs.

I disagree strongly with this statement.

Each dungeons level range introduces a new skill and trait to your class/Job. Starting with your very first skills, by doing all the dungeons in order, fitting new skills into your existing rotations eventually builds you out into a full endgame rotation.

Granted, some people just don't understand the mechanics of their class (BLMs spamming Fire 3, Monks nuking from the back only, never flanking), but the leveling 'curve' and the dungeons together, present learning environments to place new skills into a workable rotation on mobs that last for more than a couple of hits. A Dragoon will never learn a proper rotation without ever setting foot in a dungeon, it only takes two Full Thrust combos to kill most anything in your level range. Same goes for Monks and Black Mages.
Dungeons provide an excellent environment for learning your class, and how to make the best of your skills in a party.

Sadly the duty roulette never makes you play a class above level 18 so this is all moot.
